The pups were born in my family home, where all my dogs live. They will be raised as part of our family, and so their early socialisation started at day one. For the first three weeks I keep them in a quiet warm room away from all the normal household activity, then when they are ready they are moved into our living space to experience everything they would be most likely to encounter in your family home. I weigh the pups daily and handle them very frequently, both to keep an eye on their development and also to get them used to handling. I start training the pups to use newspaper at approx 3 weeks of age to help with toilet training once they leave me. They have toys to play with and also have met their grandparents! The pups will also go into the garden.
